First International Presentation of the AGRITECH Project at SRIS 2025

We are proud to announce that the AGRITECH Project – Alliance for Innovative Learning Environment in Advanced Agriculture through Technology and Management – was officially presented for the first time at an international level during the Sustainability and Resilience International Scientific (SRIS) Conference, held on 10 April 2025.

The presentation was delivered by the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) team, represented by Dr. Krisztina TÓTH and Prof. Dr. Gábor MILICS, together with Dr. Eng. Daniel AMARIEI from PAMEA – Project Advisory and Management Expert Association.

The session showcased Hungary’s digital agricultural ecosystem, highlighting key programmes such as the Digital Agrarian Strategy, Digital Agrarian Academy, and AEDIH – Agricultural European Digital Innovation Hub. It also introduced the AGRITECH project’s mission to transform agricultural education through deep tech integration, with emphasis on AI, blockchain, and quantum computing applied to real-world farming challenges.

Key AGRITECH project activities presented included:

– Curriculum development for smart and sustainable agriculture,

– Modular, competency-based learning for adult learners,

– Ongoing pilot programs across multiple European countries (HU, RO, GR, IT, CY, CZ),

– Cross-sector collaboration with universities, policymakers, and agri-tech businesses.

The event marked an important milestone for the AGRITECH consortium, as it shared its vision with international experts, researchers, and stakeholders committed to advancing resilience and innovation in agriculture.
