Month: June 2025

At Anna Lindh Foundation Forum, we have proudly contributed to the panel: “CHALLENGING GENDER STEREOTYPES: WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT IN THE EURO-MED REGION.”

As part of this inspiring discussion, I presented our work with the

“SEEDS PROJECT – EMPOWERING WOMEN THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND DIGITAL SKILLS”.

SEEDS Project was designed to address gender stereotypes head-on, equipping women from across the Euro-Med region with the entrepreneurial mindset and digital competencies needed to thrive in today’s economy.

Through tailored training, mentoring, and hands-on opportunities – including recent transformative experiences like the Egypt or Jordan Mobilities – we were seeing real impact: women not only gain new skills, but are also accessing international opportunities and stepping into leadership roles.

By bringing together experts, practitioners, and change-makers, this panel highlighted the urgent need for collaborative action. We shared strategies and success stories that prove gender barriers can be broken, and women everywhere can become powerful agents of change.

Thank you to all participants and to the Anna Lindh Foundation for creating a platform where innovation, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue can grow.

So, let’s keep working together to advance women’s empowerment and build a more equal Euro-Med region!

PAMEA at Anna Lindh Foundation Forum: Building Bridges in the Euro-Med Region

PAMEA had the great opportunity to participate in the recent Anna Lindh Foundation Forum, joining inspiring leaders and organizations from EU and across the Mediterranean to discuss how we can strengthen intercultural dialogue and gender equality.

A special highlight and a very high privilege was the opportunity to connect directly with Her Highness Princess Rym Ali of Jordan to present PAMEA’s work – especially our successful projects implemented in Jordan, supporting youth, women’s empowerment, and capacity building in partnership with local communities – and explore future and we were highly honoured to explore collaboration opportunities that will further our shared goals of education, innovation, and social inclusion.

Thank you to the Anna Lindh Foundation for this valuable platform. We look forward to expanding our impact across the region!

SEEDS AT ANNA LINDH NETWORK FORUM 2025 – Empowering Change Across the Euro-Med Region!

Although the SEEDS Project officially concluded at the end of January 2025, the story is far from over. Momentum continues to grow, with new opportunities, partnerships, and regional impact still unfolding!

We are proud to announce that Dr. Eng. Daniel Amariei, General Secretary of PAMEA, will represent SEEDS at the prestigious Anna Lindh Foundation ALN Forum 2025, held in Tirana, Albania, during 18-20 June.

📍 Under the theme “The Dialogue Effect: From Knowledge to Action”, Dr. Amariei will speak at the workshop:

“Challenging Gender Stereotypes: Women’s Empowerment in the Euro-Med Region”, alongside esteemed experts from Europe and MENA.

🔍 The session will highlight:

✔️ Best practices from SEEDS in entrepreneurship and digital empowerment for young women

✔️ The successful KIVI Model promoting regenerative agriculture

✔️ Strategies for intercultural cooperation to break gender barriers

🌱 SEEDS may be concluded as a formal project, but its impact continues – mentoring, digital workshops, green entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment are still in motion across MENA communities.

💬 More updates will follow after the forum – insights, key discussions, and new collaborations inspired by this international platform.

LET’S KEEP GROWING TOGETHER!

AGRITECH at the Agriculture for Life 2025 Conference

We are proud to share that the AGRITECH project was prominently featured at the 2025 edition of the “AGRICULTURE FOR LIFE, LIFE FOR AGRICULTURE” conference, held in Bucharest, Romania between June 5–7. Hosted by our project partner USAMV, this international event brought together experts, researchers, and innovators under the theme:

“Agroecology and biodiversity: nurturing ecosystems for thriving agriculture.”

🎤 AGRITECH presented a key scientific contribution:

“Digital Transformation in Agriculture: A Comparative Analysis of Hungary, Romania and Greece and the Role of Competence Profiling in the AgriTech Manager Framework”

Authored by a cross-institutional team from MATE, USAMV, ELGO, and PAMEA, the paper outlined national digitalisation strategies and introduced the AgriTech Manager profile – a competence-based model to upskill the workforce in smart, green agriculture.

🤝 The conference also served as a vibrant platform for cross-border knowledge exchange. Representatives from all four core partners present – USAMV (host), PAMEA, MATE, and AGRICLOUD – connected ideas and mapped out collaborative paths forward for:

– advancing smart farming education,

– reinforcing digital agriculture ecosystems,

– embedding lifelong learning in rural innovation frameworks.

🔍 AGRITECH initiative, supported by the ERASMUS+ “Partnerships for Innovation” programme, continues to push the boundaries of competence-based learning in agriculture – blending deep tech, sustainability, and entrepreneurship into a new European profile: the AgriTech Manager.
